20 months

Avery is a whopping 20 months old!

• This month she started talking in sentences. "I need milk" "I want mac cheese too" and my favorite "I LOVE YOU". She also today started asking for GiGi's "Ipad" and she says "Parker"(with a southern accent) instead of "Poo" but she sometimes puts them together and calls her "Parker Poo"
• Yes, she says I love you and I love you too. Its the most adorable thing ever. especially when she says "I love you mommy"
• Avery's hair is getting long. I can put her hair in pigtails and even one big ponytail. She loves having her hair put up.
• We finally did get her haircut for the first time, although it was really just a trim in the back. She sat very still, to my surprise!
• Since moving to a one nap schedule I've noticed Avery sleeps longer at night. We did a few days here and there of 2 naps but she seemed to wake around 7/7:15am. If she did one long nap she would sleep till 8am or later.
• She learned to say "Avery". She still mostly calls herself A Jo but occasionally she will say Avery.
• Avery has less than a month till she is no longer an only child. Part of me is sad that she will have to share chris and I but I know she will love having a sibling.
• When we pass Baylor (the hospital I delivered Avery and will deliver Liam) Avery will point and says "Bubba", she catches on fast, I only told her a few times that we would meet bubba there.
• She loves to pretend to put on lotion and soap. she goes into the bathroom and will touch the top of her shampoo or baby soap and rub her belly saying "lotion" or "soap". she has started helping with her lotion after her bath.
• Avery thinks she is a fish, in the pool she pushes away from me thinking she can swim.
• She has entered the "helper" stage and its nice, she enjoys picking up her toys, bringing me things, cleaning the floor and even helping daddy fix the car! I know this stage doesn't last long so I am definitely enjoying it. She'll be a big help when baby brother arrives; in 3 weeks!!!!!
